VB20 – Vented Batten

Overview

Vented Batten (VB20) is a Polypropylene Ventilated Batten which provides a continuous 16,000mm²  per linear metre of passive airflow. This will enable the movement and release of warm air which can eliminate condensation in the roof void and wall cavity. The VB20 is designed as a dual purpose product providing the following benefits. The VB20 Vented Batten is suitable for steel and timber framing. 

• Peel-off adhesive backing for temporary fixing, hence reducing labour time and cost.
• It is manufactured with recommended 4mm vents which make it ideal as a roof perimeter batten as it will repel the ingress of nesting insects.
• The VB20 is also designed to provide a strong, durable purlin vent to allow passive airflow throughout the entire roof and wall area.
• When used as a purlin batten, the VB20 has been upgraded in strength and tested to exceed foot traffic weight requirements on the roof above.

Returns Policy

We are more than happy to accept returns on Vent products, providing the following:

• Vent products may only be returned within 3 months from initial purchase date
• Vent products can only be returned in full, undamaged cartons, in a resalable condition.
• Any products returned, return freight is at the cost of the customer, and the original freight is to be invoiced to the customer.
• Return must be handled by the original purchasing store.

Once we have received the returned item and confirmed it is in a resalable state, we will credit the item.

Please make sure a credit and return request is sent to our team and acknowledged by us before proceeding with sending the items back.
