VENT was created as a direct result of the the ‘Leaky Homes’ crisis, recognising that internal moisture and condensation in roof spaces are widespread issues.

For decades, weather-tightness standards have overlooked the necessity of proper ventilation, leading to condensation and mold growth. These issues significantly contribute to high levels of asthma and respiratory ailments in New Zealand. Internal Moisture Management Design Guide

The DriSpace systems encompass a combination of components, including DriStud wall and roof underlay, Cool Window Flashing tape, Vent products, and Proctor brand specialised construction membranes. These systems are designed with the goal of achieving a balance between airtightness and sufficient passive ventilation.

By adopting the principle of “build tight and ventilate right,” these systems contribute to enhancing New Zealand buildings. We are more than happy to accept returns on Vent products, providing the following:

Vent products may only be returned within 3 months from initial purchase date
Vent products can only be returned in full, undamaged cartons, in a resalable condition.
Any products returned, return freight is at the cost of the customer, and the original freight is to be invoiced to the customer.
Return must be handled by the original purchasing store.

Once we have received the returned item and confirmed it is in a resalable state, we will credit the item.

Please make sure a credit and return request is sent to our team and acknowledged by us before proceeding with sending the items back.
